What the Left Ignores about Gun Control

What the left ignores is it will never do any good to make laws that only make criminals out of honest citizens. You want gun control. Then pass a law that makes it illegal to kill someone without just cause. O! wait , we already have a law to cover that. Then make it illegal for felons and crazies to posses or own guns. O1 wait we already have that. Then make a law when you buy a gun you have to have a background check done. O1 wait we have that. Why not try enforcing the law we already have. Let the Judges know if they keep giving out LIGHT SENTENCES TO GUN LAW VIOLATORS that you will vote them out of office. Let your Governors know that they need to appoint people to Parole Boards that are not soft on gun violators when they come up for parole and include the violent criminals. You can't predict and it is hard to prevent a crazie from going crazie , but if the criminal is in prison serving the sentence a jury /judge gave them. Then they would not be on the streets affecting our lives. Get rid of these gun free zones . It only tells them were they will meet no resistance other than physical. When the crazy still tries, have an armed guard/teacher/students over 21, waiting to stop them. I spent 41 yrs in the L.E. carer field/ most of it on the street. If someone can pass the training and background check to get a Carry Permit, then I have no reason to fear them. Someone that has no training with firearms does scare me if they have a weapon in their hands. No Law is going to stop a Criminal or crazie from doing the unthinkable. That's just what they do. But a trained person with a weapon can stop them. If you want to change the Constitution . I can think of some other changes to make that will make America a safer place. But wait, that violate the rights of the Criminals and the crazies.
